In this main stage TED Talk, “How we’ll find life on other planets,” I discuss how life might exist elsewhere in the universe through researching the atmosphere of distant exoplanets. I also discuss my classically-trained acting background and my organization, Rising Stargirls, which engages underrepresented young women in the sciences using theater, writing, and visual art. All of which play a central role in my memoir Life on Other Planets, available now for pre-order.
In this Ted-Ed talk, “Should we be looking for life elsewhere in the universe?” I tackle the question, “Are we alone in the universe?” and pursue the question of whether we should be looking for life elsewhere in the universe and if there is life elsewhere, whether we should contact the beings who may live there.
