As a classically trained actor, I use theater, writing, and the visual arts to bring the public into dialogue about scientific discoveries, having given two TED Talks, one on the main stage and one as part of TED-Ed.
In this interactive workshop, I will be engaging participants in how to develop and present engaging oral presentations to a wide range of audiences. The workshop will include not only an interactive component through deep discussions and presentation development and practice but also a reflective workshop component as participants reflect on themselves, their experiences, and on what engages them and makes them feel truly alive.
Bring a notebook and pen, and wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing.
